depends on how you handle yourself. just don't give out any personal information or add people you don't know. and also making your profile private helps.

no its completly safe

its just that dumb people post dumb pics of them showing their underware

they attract sexual predators

meet with them and u know what happens after they meet

they also might not even have their profile set to private

myspace is safe u just need to be responsible for what u do there u need to know how to use internet the right way

well that depends on how smart you are, and if you are a kid who likes to click on everything just to see what it does and if you are easily tricked by spammers into installing malicious software onto your computer

all it takes is one wrong click and your entire computer's security is vulnerable, including bank account numbers and anything else you keep on your computer

but then again, the same holds true no matter what site you are talking about (even yahoo answers!) - spammers are everywhere on every site - trying to make money off people who click on things they shouldnt be clicking on

so tell your parents, if they are worried about you using myspace, then they also have to worry about you using every other website in the world (including yahoo answers) - it's not like online predators ONLY use myspace... that would just be silly....
