Is national tkd federation the same as ITF?

No. There are a lot of separate federations out there. There are several organizations affiliated with the ITF, such as the UKTF, but National TKD isn't one of them.

no its not really the same. diff rules diff sparring gear and sometimes different forms. id look up the rules for both if i were you because if u enter a tournament expecting the other u will b in a world of pain.

No. the national tkd federation is the governing body for ur particular country. it could be either itf or wtf, depending on what they call it. but the itf is an organisation which teaches the chang hon style, which was created by Gen Choi hong hi. do u get what i mean?
