Is natural yogurt good for you..?

I don't drink milk or eat butter and eggs and rarely eat cheese. Does yogurt have enough calcium and other nutrients I miss from dairy foods..?

  1. As long as you don`t have Lactose intolerence - yes, it should have enough calcium.


  2. YEAh! in my opinion yogurt is much better than milk.it will keep your body cool and has less fat compared to milk.try yogurt with little sugar and vanilla essence.sure u'll lik it.

  4. Yoghurt is  a useful source of calcium and phosphorus for strong bones and teeth. it also contain vitamin B12 and B2 for a healthy nervous system.People who need  calcium and can not drink milk ,yoghurt is the best subsitute for them.

  6. Yes but dependent on your gender& age, you could take a calcium supplement in addition to the yoghurt just to be sure. Yoghurt is also very good for your digestive system so keep it up.

  8. yes, yogurt has enough calcium , if you like fish try fish because fish has protein to make you grow taller and stronger...:)

  9. It is good for you but you will have to eat a lot to replace the calcium missing by not eating other dairy foods. It might be prudent to have a calcium tablet each day. This is what my coeliac husband has to do because he is also lactose intolerant.
