  1. Did you book it through a Travel Agent? if so ask them, if you didnt book this yet, I would suggest to stay away from Royal, They use to be great ships now there service has gone down.

  2. "Good" in what way?  You can look at a deck plan at RC's website and see whether the cabin is above/below any noisy areas, etc.

You might check CruiseCritic.com.  Click on "Boards", then you can either go to the RC board or "Cabin Selection Tips" and do a search.  Some people have had luck with doing a Yahoo or Google search using ship name/cabin number - it's worth a try.

  3. that is an inside cabin on the 10th deck which is the highest deck for cabins. out your window you will be able to see only the Promenade deck below you which is the large open area though the middle of the inside of the ship that has the shops and bars in it. 1603 is at the middle of the ship from front to back so you should little rocking of the ship if any at all.

Navigator is a very good pick, we sailed her right after they put her in the fleet back in 2003 she was only 2 months old. I hope they have kept her in the pristine shape she was back then.

  4. you could check out your cabln by going to www.rccl.com and entrying your reservation number and going to look for your cabin  number. you could also call rccl and ask them where the cabin is on what side and if it is in the front, midship or back.  the best cabins are in the middle or back.  the front is usually more rocking at night.   also the cabin goes by catagories depending on the catagory is your cabin.  another thing is your cabin inside, porthole or balcony.
