Is netball in the olympics....?

I like netball and I haven't seen it on the Olympics.

If it isn't then why?

Yes, but it was televied on a less well known channel very late at night.

Netball was classified as an Olympic sport in 1995 but has yet to be included in the Games.  

I think it might be introduced for London 2012 as it is very popular in the UK.  It is almost a national sport in Australia - they are the current world champions.

I would like to see it in the Olympics - I too love the game.

Netball is not currently an Olympic sport.  Many good sports are not Olympic endorsed.  Two that are currently in, baseball and softball, are probably going to be removed from the Olympic program by 2012.

BTW, being recognized by the IOC is different than being a full Olympic medal sport.  The IOC has different levels of recognition.  The IOC recognizes many sports that are not, and may never become, Olympic medal sports.
