Is neutered cat technically female?

if you neuter a male cat does that make it a female, does it remain a male, or is it...nothing

  1. It's still a male. It won't be able to give birth like a female. It still has a p***s unlike a female cat. Same for any animal including a human.


  2. neuter is from 14th century Latin. ne = "not" + uter  = "which of two"

    Both male and female animals still have some of their primary s*x organs remaining after a neuter. They can be obviously identified as male or female after they've been neutered. Male and female animals that are neutered after sexual maturity still behave as male or female animals to some extent. Taking out the testicles of a male cat does not a female cat make. Perhaps you need to search out some female s*x organ information. It takes a lot more to be female then the abscence of testicles, obviously.

    Most vets denote an animal as still being male/female with a N after it to denote that the animal is neutered. The gender of the animal still affects what conditions they are more prone to, thus the notation of gender.
