  1. No, how can somebody say they are inferior?

It is down to personal preference.

I know a friend who uses the Nike Sumo Square headed driver and he can hit it longer and keep the ball in play more with it.

The same with the golf balls, I know people who like them and people who never use anything but Titlelist.

I think the reason that you heard they are inferior is because Nike are in every sport, therefore they can argue that they just produce any old c**p for the sport.

Where as something like Titlelist or Ping only work in golf and are not in every other sport.

  2. Yeah they are

I went to the range the other day and tried out a few drivers. The nike felt bad. When i went from the nike to the taylor made i increased my distance by at least 15 yards. Nike was just not smooth. It is just hyped up because of tiger. Tiger can play nike good because tiger can play anything good.

  3. No they aren't.

It really depends on personal opinion and feel, but one of my playing partners regularly uses a Nike driver to good effect, and recent Nike clubs have performed to a good standard in testing. Look at the golf magazines that run independent tests; Nike clubs generally do well, and even when they arent the very best, neither are they bad.

The same goes for balls, there is a wide variety of balls in Nike's range and they are actually pretty good (I know, because I use them and so does my brother). I suggest you get a couple and try them before deciding whether they are the right ball for you

  4. No they are not
