Is nikon p80 a good choice over new 6000 with gps ?

i need high zoom

camera being large is no matter for me.

can i use gps as regular gps device or it has only particular application?

are prices going to drop in sept?

  1. Ok, first of all, i don't know anything about GPS devices, i only know about the Nikon p80, which has a lot of mixed reviews, refer to this:

    scroll down to the reviews, and you'll see that's it doesn't get all five stars you have a lot of 3's,2's, and 1's, which would discourage me from buying a camera. They say that when you zoom in with this camera, which is too good to be true quite literally, the images come back scrambled and blurry. I wouldn't suggest getting this camera, because that would be a little stubborn, after seeing such bad reviews.

    in my humble opinion, you should consider the Canon S5IS:

    I had the S3, which was a really good camera. I've held this camera, it feels really good in hand, and has a twelve X zoom, and it's screen can twist in and out, which you can't do on the Nikon p80. get The Canon camera, you'd be much happier with the resulting image quality.
