Is nissin cup noodle not allowed in the us?

my boxes of nissin cup noodles was confiscated in the san fransisco airport immigration section,why is that?

from Hong Kong(USAdont sell thiskind of cup noodle)

BTW, i am surprised your saying, cuz my friend brought me 1 dozen, it is a lot of space, they should saw it. but they let him in.

May be the time the staff is not that happy..(or lost money last night  ^ ^)

That is the weirdest thing I have ever heard.  I buy those all the time and infact, I have one in my cupboard right now.  Actually, I might have one right now.  I'm kinda hungry.  Anyway, that is just too weird.  I'd be pissed!

Certain foods are not allowed unless they meet US health and agriculture laws.  Meats are often banned.  Also if you are bringing a large amount, that could be a problem.  There is Nissin noodles and I would imagine that those have been inspected.
