  1. Fluoride helps to remineralize weak areas in your enamel. So, if you have a spot that is starting to form into a cavity, using a fluoride toothpaste may help to remineralize that area and prevent the cavity from breaking through.

    I would recommend using a fluoridated toothpaste.
