1. are non-prescription contacts bad for you? well probably not if used properly. and you have to throw away all contacts at some point, probably around a month.

 2. no she is right its a scam really why do you want to change your eye color to a crappy fake looking contact I have yet to see one that doesn't look stupid. as far as infections you are putting some thing on you eye on your eye if your hands aren't clean yes also if you decrease the amount of oxygen to your eye yes also you can experience blindness I have contacts but not the color one I have brown eye my wife loves my eyes

 3. Color contacts are not bad for your eyes as long as they are fitted by a doctor and you take care of them properly. The optometrist will make sure the contacts are the right sizes for your eyes and will educate you on how to properly clean and store them. He or she will also monitor your eye health to make sure the lenses do not harm them. Infections usually happen to people who abuse their contacts. All soft contacts are disposable, so you will have to throw them away at some point.
