i would like to know if northen ireland is part of the uk and if so why does a quote say charges not applicable in northen ireland

  1. yes, Northern Ireland is part of the UK, the UK consist of England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland


  2. The majority of the old Ireland is now part of the U.K. There is still a tip of the old Irish and customs in Co. Donegal. That's a great place to go.

  3. yes it is. charges not applicable probly because its a territory, not a state of the UK.

The United Kingdom consists of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, Wales is a Principality.  All are part of Great Britain.  There are so many things happening in the North at the moment, that many laws, etc., including charges are not applicable as it is not part of the 'mainland'.   Insurance premiums are a prime example.
