  1. I don't think so. They still use Sterling instead of Euro though, which can be a bit inconvenient if you're only going up for a day.

  2. It's more or less the same give or take on some things. Fuel is one thing that is a good bit cheaper in ROI

  3. Oz forget the cost

Enjoy   Both Uk Eire Northern Ireland

You will have a great old time ,,,Cheers from a Yorky

    uK Ok Syd

  4. No I think the republic is cheaper, Northern Ireland uses the sterling which is a stronger currency than the euro and cigarettes are expensive in Britain I've heard

  5. no it isnt really. it may seem it as its pounds and ROI is euro and something thats 60p will be 1 euro but thats equal if ya get me. cities willl be more expensive in bothj NI and ROI.

ROI is great, you shud travel down the west coast from clare to kerry (rent a car) , then head to dublin, u cant miss it.

go to the burren in clare, the cliffs of moher, lahinch (great surfing spot) and dingle in kerry. lovely people, lovely culture.

if u decide to only do NI dont miss the giants gauseway, its stunning.

    good luck.
