Is now a good time to buy property in Bangkok?

Inflation has raised the price of construction material here about 10% in the last year.  Interest rates just raised another 25 bases points yesterday.  Wait maybe after the next coup the economy will go to h**l and your find some good deals.

I don't think so - looks overbuilt and expensive - unless you get a used unit where someone has dropped the price incredibly, but that does not seem to be the story now - I was looking recently as a possible investment but I am doing much better w/other investments -
