trust me, right now is NOT the time to get involved in stocks. There is going to be a HUGe projected stock market crash, the economy will plument and a depressions is supposed to result, worse that the last one.

Take my advice and stay as far away from the stock market as possible. Put your money in gold, it retains its value through all types of economy.

OK I do not think you should stay away from the stock market their is always money to be made.  

However GM is not a good buy right now, the stock is in a downtrend and probably will be for a while.

  Maybe look at something that isn't making 15% losses in a day but is trending up.

Never stay away from the stock market, because the truth of the matter is u can make money from stocks both ways, long or short it's a win win situation. So since it's a bear just short everything in sight. Besides didn't livermore make a fortune shorting the great depression market? Buy those two stocks when you see strength and price action has reversed.
