  1. nuclear energy can be at present called renewable because they can be not only obtained from uranium but also thorium and hydrogen.Hydrogen is fusion energy and though not controlled till now,is actually a renewable resource. The main point is energy obtained from nuclear sources is very much more compared to the energy obtained from the same amount of fossil fuels. And fossil fuels are getting depleted really fast.So in the present scenario, nuclear energy is usually labelled a renewable resource.

  2. No. Radioactive material, like uranium, is mined from the earth and not renewable.

The half life of uranium is very long so it may seem that it never needs to be renewed, which may seem like a good thing, but it is a double edged sword. It remains radio active for hundreds of years. And we have no assured means of doing something to protect us from the radioactive material because you can't just leave it laying around. It is way worse than green house gases and kills you quicker but more painfully.

  3. no theirs a bad toxic waste  things like wind, it ant gona stop    the only by product is enegry

  4. No its not

  5. No source of energy on this earth is renewable. Some sources will just last longer than others. The sun as a energy source will last the longest, all others falling in behind.

  6. No. we have to assume it is a very finite resource unless we find an enormous cache of it.

  7. Nuclear energy comes from the fission of the nuclei of uranium, and possibly thorium.

These nuclei are older by far than coal, oil and natural gas.  They were created in supernovas from before the Solar System was even formed, so they are literally older than the Earth.  This makes them the ultimate "fossil" fuel; they are emphatically NOT renewable.

On the other hand, they emit no greenhouse gases.  There is one heck of a lot of energy available from them, and if most of them disappeared from Earth's crust it's doubtful that anything would miss them.  This makes them much "greener" than carbon-based fossil fuels.
