  1. i'm not a nunchaku expert, but I believe that there is not a standalone nunchaku art similar to kenjutsu. however most japanese arts that teach weapons use the nunchaku.

  2. its a weapon used in martial arts like karate. its a pretty cool weapon once you have mastered it.

  3. No, it's a weapon... Why does it matter when you were born? I was born Feb. 25, 1993 you've got 4 year on me, get with the program and learn a martial art or two... or 10.

  4. It's an accessory, their pronounced nunchakus.

  5. it's not a martial art. many styles of martial arts teach the techniques and forms such as k*k sool won,tae kwon do,and most external and southern systems of chinese martial arts. many old-school masters will describe as an art in and of itself because it takes a "lifetime" to master and you have to respect it to control it, fear it and it controls you. you should also check out the 3section staff/sansetsukon, and the 2section staff.

  6. no it is not

  7. it's like an accessory. originally, the nunchuks were usedto bang drums in Japan, but until the Samurai banned the people of Japan including Okinawa (yes i kno, its part of Japan) from having weapons, they had to use what they had left for weapons that weren't originally used as weapons. So if you were a drummer back then, you didn't realize how much of a badass you would be with those sticks, lol
