Is nursing still indemand for the next three years?

hi. im a college student and still confused if i should continue my course which is BSN (nursing), because my friends told me that nurses will decrease it's demand in 2010, i'm planning to shift my course specifically in the college of education,i also love to teach and it is also my passion to care for others. please help me. what career should i take if i would migrate to CANADA? pls....

  2. as long as there is sick and dying..there will be a demand for nurses. Even with a degree in nursing you can teach. I am an RN. I am currently an clinical instructor for upcoming nurses. So..u can have your cake and eat it too. I guess the proper question is..what is your passion? Do you really want to pursue nursing.

  3. Your friend is wrong because the baby boomer generation will be retiring. The demand will only increase!

  4. I know a couple of nurses who teach healthcare to high schoolers. Maybe you should look into something like that.
