Is obtaining a life license "easier" then a P&C License?

Yes. I've heard that it is in most states.  

You can sell Disability, Health, and P&C with a P&C licence in CA. These coverages are some of the most complex out there and a long list of things to sell and be responsible for.  

A life license means that you can sell only life, health and Disability.

Yes. Very simple in  California and all states that my company does business in. My company actually pays the individuals licenses and classes  for people interested in Life and Securities.
