Is oktober a good month to visit Venice?Some have to see and have to do things for venice.Thank you all.?

October is a great month to visit Venice. It's not so crowded as during the peak tourist season, and the weather is cooler. There will be some days with fog. that's a good opportunity to get out to Piazza San Marco early for photos while the square is empty. The must see places are well covered in the guide books. The secret tour of the Doge's Palace  is worth doing. Obviously, you should go through San Marco too. The small museum upstairs is nice and there are good views from the balcony. Much of the fun in Venice is just strolling along the canals to admire the architecture. The Biennale (biannual art show) is running through November. The main venues are in the Garden and at Arsenale. There are a lot of good exhibits this year. There are associated exhibits all over Venice.

Take the boat to Burano while you're there. The glassworks at Murano can be interesting too.

Right now there are sculptures set up around the city - through the middle of October. The Venice marathon is at the end of Oct (28th).

Every month is great in Venice, except the summer when it is hot and crowded and the canals can be smelly.

Just walk everywhere and experience the magic that is Venezia!
