Is he right to say all middle class white men are discriminated against at the BBC or in the media as a whole? Is it not true that women are in very senior positions at the BBC or is it because they are women that they have been put here? Do you think women are placed there as eye candy only? Do you think that once a woman is a certain age, she is no longer wanted on tv because she's deemed to be too old?

  1. It has been a trend for some years for 'eye candy' women to appear as BBC front-line journo's. But I think that's very selective, and wouldn't influence (I hope) placement in the majority of roles. If anything that's contrary to the image of the Beeb as overly PC.

So I wouldn't think, other than in the roles stated, this overly weights against middle-class white men.

But who would argue with the Paxman? Answer me please ... who would argue with the Paxman?  Look, I'm sorry to be a pain here but who would argue with the Paxman? Who do you think would argue with the Paxman?  I'm sorry to push the point but who would argue with ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

    He so determined!

  2. To a degree he is right on.

With affirmative action, and hiring quotas, the white middle class male is certainly taking a backseat to political correctness.

  3. I think everyone is discriminated at one point... Cant really say only white middleclass are the only ones..... He probably got discriminated against and he's hatin'....  And no women is too old if she still looks good... And most people on tv have high ambitions of looking great cause there on tv!!!!

And by the way, u are looking great!!!
