I am in the process of repairing my credit and am getting ready to send out dispute letters. Do I need to send them to all 3 agencies or just to 1? I read somewhere that if something is deleted off of your report by one agency, they have to notify the other 2. So do I really need to send letters to all 3? Which one is the easiest to work with? Who has a higher rating of success? Any help would be great.

That's where I got all of my info from, except what I am asking here.

  1. The three credit bureaus are separate companies and are not obligated to report identical info...They are, however,  required to report accurate info per the Fair Credit Reporting Act....You need to request verification for each bureau.

Experian has a reputation of being the most difficult. FYI: Simply requesting verification is no guarantee that they will remove the negative items...they could come back and verify everything.
