When people are free the life choices they make may not sit well with the collective thinking

(She may decide that SHE, don't want to kick down doors, so as to become a top fire-fighter etc, but just do some glamour work instead, as many have)

Are they cast off, as not fit for the cause?

OR

Do they get the feminist blessing?

  1. Do we even care? No.

EDIT: No, I don't care. What other women do doesn't matter to me. I was asking if it mattered to other people.

  2. I honestly don't care what women do, as long as they have made the active choice to have that lifestyle.  Let them be a SAHM, or the CEO of a Fortune 500 company, work at a Non-profit gig, or Vanity Fair...the key here is that its an active choice on their part.

Active choices are made by people doing what they want and not what they have been conditioned to believe they are "meant"  to be doing or not doing because they "shouldn't" be.  As long as they are happy, healthy, and productive (this does not necessarily imply a monetary contribution) citizens than no one has the right to try and change who they are or what they do.... So speaketh a feminist.

    EDIT:

As long as the p**n industry was her active choice and not one made because she believed that as a woman her only commodity was her body...than yeah, I'd support her for making that choice.  Please do not misunderstand, my support does not imply that I agree with the choice being made, but my agreement is not necessary in order to have my support.

  3. Feminism gives a woman the right to choose. After that, what she choses becomes her business.

I can only say I would be disappointed if a women chose to be degraded.

  4. Well I've seen this be the cases with both sexes. I've seen men who enjoy having the title of Marine or Police officer, but when you speak to a group of his peers, he performs below average, he's not knowledgeable of his job or responsibilities, and he's not as reliable/dependable as his brothers in arms or co-workers. Some men work hard to earn the title and wear the uniform because they know it will attract women. So it goes both ways.  And can you please explain to me, what is "glamour work?" If you're speaking of the task that many of the "Macho men" do not want to do, what you have to understand is that someone (regardless of s*x) has to do it. Paper work must be completed to receive equipment, give in account for finances, or too ensure accountability for equipment.  Sometime the task that people feel is not "glamorous" is passed to those who are considered to be "under achievers" or who're not looked upon favorably by others within that specific career field. Everyone at some point in time within their specific duties have to do the “glamour work” or the “$h!t jobs”. Can you please explain these duties in more detail?

I'm not sure about being "cast off as not fit for the cause". Because from what I understand the cause was for women of all backgrounds to have the chance to become who ever they choose to be in life. If she's a file clerk for the local fire or police department and is happy with it, I don't think that would make her "unfit for the cause".  And what is the "feminist blessing"? Please explain? Is there a ceremony? Does she receive a specific set of orders or paper work that states she's received the blessing of feminist? Is there a feminist “order” that she must submit her paper work too in order to receive their blessing? And what benefits will she receive upon being given the "blessing?” this is something new that I would really like to learn more about. Because I didn't know that feminist where now classified as ordained by the church.....

  5. I say any women making her own choice because it is what she wants in her life gets the feminist blessing.

  6. Women are politically correct.  Whatever they do is right...

  7. I don't think I've ever seen a feminist on this forum degrade a woman who chooses to be a housewife. As a matter of fact I've seen more men who aren't feminists degrade housewives than I have seen women.

I am quite perplexed by this hardcore held belief that feminists disapprove of housewives. Sure, there were some militant feminist writers of the 70s, and Linda Hirshman who look to these women as "victims of the patriarchy," but can anyone show me where it is a widely held belief among feminists? And why do people think being a feminist and being a housewife are mutually exclusive? I know of many self-proclaimed feminist housewives, and many post here.

  8. The 'raison d'etra' of militant feminists is to undermine men. Pretending to help women by having us all believe that they are victims of men, merely provides them with the excuse. Accordingly, many women as well as men are bullied by their slavish belief that men and women are interchangeable.

It is interesting that when they play the quotas game, that employee profiles should reflect the make up of society, they totally disregard education, particularly Primary Schools, where female teachers massively outweigh male teachers. Moreover, they have feminised the curriculum to suit the way girls like to learn, turned education into a PC world, removed competition and sport. Quite simply, if boys don't behave like girls, they are regarded as failures. Apart from the breakdown in the traditional family, failing to recognise that boys need to be taught differently from girls, is a major cause of boys failing at school, and in society generally. When this is raised as an issue, as it has been recently, we get yet more women trying to solve a problem that they don't even understand, and in fact, have created. Schools also tend to be left wing indoctrination camps, producing Labour Party fodder.

  9. Veritas - you are right on the button, except it is much much worst that you can imagine, it is hard to tell you how dark and evil it is, its as if Hitler had actually won, as if the devil himself is ruling when you see what is happening in UK schools with all of this, it sickling me to my core, and i have to deal with it daily...

    So SAD!!!

    edit:

CC will you wake up, feminism GIVES women NOTHING - women do -, if you keep it up you and your family will wake up slaves one day soon!! WAKE UP

  10. YES. One of the dilemnas of feminism, is it's insistance on everybody thinking the same thing. If you ever saw Invasion of the Body Snatchers this gives a perfect analogy for this. The moment a "snatched" soul realizes you are not one of them, they "out" you and you are absorbed by the collective. Also, the Borg in Star Trek is the same thing. They symbolize the independance-crushing facet of communism. In your case it is not communism, but the communist-inspired feminist movement. The issue is identical.

  11. Not really, a woman can choose whatever she wants to do, as long as she does have that choice.
