Is one thing for certain, Gov Palin will not win the chic California and New York vote for McCain?

Gun Totin, Bible Totin, Pro-Life, Big Family Mom will never be an insider in the New York or California Hollywood San Francisco jet set crowd?

But how will she relate to the rest of the country

no she's Republican and those two states are and have been Democrat for generations.  Where have you been?

Thats fine last time I checked there are many more states inside USA then on the coasts. Generally middle America is quite a bit more conservative then the coasts

McCain was too liberal for some of us, so she balances this out.

Makes McCain more palatable.

I am sure it will break her heart to be told that she is nothing like a Californian.

I too live in a state owned by democrats, but I am voting McCain / Palin anyway

I would be surprised if McCain even wasted his time in California, or New York, Regan was the Last Republican to win those states.

She will relate. I have friend at work that never votes, and as soon as he heard she was in the NRA, he is all excited to go vote for Palin..

And she will get out the Conservatives, who helped Bush win.

Well, I'm from California and I think she's fine.  Not Ron Paul, but definitely better than McCain or Obama..... or Pelosi....

But then as a Republican, I'm likely not a typical Californian....

John McCain not picking Charlie Chris, Tim Pawlenty, Mike Huckabee, Tom Ridge, and Mitt Romney will be a death wish to his chance at the oval office now.

He will likely win Alaska and maybe Panama.

Such a Mondale/Ferraro sequel he turned out to be.
