Is onion plant good for goldfish

is onion plants good for goldfish or is it going to kill them because i want to put some onion plant in my fish tank if it's good. thanks :)

  1. nope not advisable to put onion plant in a goldfish tank.  Your goldfish will eat it all.

  3. Onion Plants (Cirinum species) are great for Goldfish tanks-- they survive in aggressive Cichlid tanks with fish that would normall shred plants just for fun.  Along with the Onions, Java Moss, Java Fern, Anubias, Hornwort, and most floating plants would be good choices.
