Is only the bachelor's degree enough for h1b visa if i don't have any experience?

is an experience a necessary thing?

and should my diploma's specialization be equal to my future h1b job?

thanks in advance/

  1. In some cases, you don't even need a bachelor's degree, however, it depends on the field you want to go into.  I have found that the computer field and accounting are good fields to find sponsors for an H1b visa.  The computer field requires a LOT of experience though.  I would advise the following:

    1.  Figure out what you want to do for a career and go to school for that.

    2.  Start looking for a sponsor in the US when you are in your last year of school.

You may also want to try finding an intership here in the US in hopes of getting a sponsorship.

  2. A bachelor's degree is enough if an employer in the USA is convinced that it is enough. And as long as they claim the job requires the degree you have.

But why do you have no experience? When I graduated from college I already had six years part time experience. Are you not interested enough in your field of study to have done stuff in that area on your own just because you were really, really curious about it? Because as someone (from Canada) on an H-1B themselves, and who actually interviews people for hiring, that is what I look for. Employers want people who are enthusiastic about the field they are studying.

They do not have the desire to take a person with only theoretical knowledge and take years with them to make them useful. The phrase here is that they want people "who can hit the ground running".

  3. Yes, a BA degree is enough.  Yes, the job must be directly related to the degree.
