  1. I don't know why I'd know this.. but no.

  2. No, she died back in 06.

  3. According to Wikipedia, Oprah Gail Winfrey was born as a result of a single sexual encounter on January 29, 1954, in rural Kosciusko, Mississippi, to two teenage parents, Vernita Lee, a housemaid, and Vernon Winfrey, who was stationed at a local Air Force base.  Oprah spent her first six years living with her maternal grandmother, Hattie Mae Lee, who taught her to read before she entered school, allowing her to skip the first two grades.  Oprah's first public performance was an Easter recitation at the age of three at Buffalo United Methodist Church.  By age four, parishioners knew Oprah as "the Little Speaker".  Oprah has told an English newspaper that her grandmother was so poor that she dressed Oprah in fabric cut from potato sacks, but she could also quote much of the Bible from memory and instilled in Oprah a drive to succeed.  When Oprah didn't mind her, Hattie Lee use a switch--an old, time-honored Southern custom.

Since Oprah is in her mid 50s, it's doubtful that any of her grandparents are now living. According to the "Washington Informer", Hattie Lee died in 1963.

  4. I don't care

  5. if you need information on her grandmother there is a picture of her on your pancake box
