Is our NSG the Indian equivalent of the American SWAT?

The black cat commandos are used for internal crisis like hostage, terrorism etc. . So I think of it as the counterpart of the American SWAT. Whatsay?

Yes u  r right  NSG is a independent force anyboby from armed force or else were can join the NSG. But its very tuff than the army.
