Question:

Is our bad economy really all President Bush's fault?

I keep hearing people saying that our bad economy is all thanks to Bush(though I don't ever ask them to back it up, mostly because they can't), but I believe this is all part of a natural business cycle. We can't always be in the green and just improving. There will be times when we are in the red. Though I, myself, haven't researched this matter too much and can't really backup my claim.

What do you think are the causes of our bad economy? Please back up what you say as well. I don't want any "lol Bush sucks, thats y" answers.

  1. no, it is our wasteful way of living catching up with us.

  2. The president is just a scapegoat in America. He has very little power. The congress is the actual culprit. The economy was doing very well until the Democrats took over congress in 2006.

We keep focusing on the president while giving the jokers in congress a free ride by electing them for life.

  3. Our economic woes are the result of Congress ignoring reality and continuing give aways instead of cutting the waste. Bush is always the fall guy when in reality it is congress that sets the spending and how well they monitor economic factors prevent disasters like we have now. The blame game helps nothing and what is needed is for congress to take back our leadership and drill for oil and fund alternative energy sources. Permitting financial institutions to create the housing bubble and stopping drilling has put us in this mess.

  4. Citizens could make Civic Currency or become Communist.

Consumer Culture is also to blame plus credit card use and credit card companies. Also specualtion without actual money to back it up.

    Loans from China maybe.

  5. Bush has spent a lot of money

go see the new movie "I.O.U.S.A" it came out Thursday   it will blow your mind and suddenly nothing will matter to you anymore as you begin to realize, we are ******

the last time in 60 Years that the USA has showed a surplus in the economy was only one year during Clinton. A DEMOCRAT

  6. It's "ALL of the REPUBLICANS" fault. Sending all of our money to war. Jobs are downsizing. prices rising. inflation, no health care, wage increases don't exit. so much more wake up.

If you don't notice these things you better grow up and move out of your parents house  try to get a job and support your self. Or if you are on your own already, you must be leaching off someone. Or you are just Brain Dead

  7. no. bush rocks (: its hannah montana because everyone buys her stuff with her weird little face on it!!!! hahaahahaha

  8. Presidents always get the blame (and take credit for) things outside their power to influence (answer = no) significantly but, our economy is not bad.  Americans seem to be in some sort of mass hypnosis or something.  We're not even in a recession (GNP has continued to grow) and the bubble bursts are no worse then those of the dot com and credit union problems in past years.  There is generally a mild recession every couple of years.  Hopefully there will be real news for the media to report on in the future so they don't have to make news out of nothing.
