  1. Always, even if you dont think so.

  2. Education now is always important for the future.  If you're in high school you really can't do much in life anymore without a high school diploma.  If for no other reason, that's why it's important.

Education opens you up to reading, language, literature, etc.  And the more you read the more you are able to understand.  Being able to be literate is a very very important skill these days.

If you're in school you're probably also learning some computer skills.

Education also provides opportunities for socialization, science literacy, math knowledge.   Even if you don't think you'll even use calculus or trigonometry in "real life"  you're having practice with basic math skills.

As for a college degree, that is becoming even more important than a high school diploma.  In about 5 to 10 years you're going to need at least an associates degree for almost everything you do.   There's many many fields now that you can't even become licensed to do without a Graduate degree.

The specific material you are learning at this point in your life might not help you in the future, but in the long run everything you learn is useful somehow.

  3. are you referring to special ed or regular/general ed?  do you even know what Special Ed means?  or do you just not understand how to use yahoo answers properly?

  4. It should be, but that depends on what you are learning.
