  1. This Universe is built upon truth. If not, it wouldn't exist.

The universe has no opposites. We make them up.

  2. Huh?

  3. Your grammar and syntax make it difficult for anyone to really know what you mean. Do you mean "reality" is "truth"? Do you ask whether truth ( or reality or both ) is a cause or an effect?

And how can anything be the opposite of reality, or of cause and effect?

Then, "what are we" in your definition? We are: men; rational animals; bipedals; mammals; primates; chortada.

You must learn when asking (and answering) questions of philosophy, that philosophers take very seriously the precise meaning of your words. If we did not, we would have no way to answer you.

  4. A full opposite is usually functionally indeterminable from the base or original. Our opposites in truth (as an effect of that cause) would be our duplicates (our likes).

Whether they would attract or repel is left as an exercise for the student.
