Bristol City Council has been ordered to find a migrant 'worker' with Dutch citizenship and her five young children a house by a High Court judge. Sahra El Elmi claims she has a right to housing as she is a European worker as a result of her six-hours-a-week job as a dinner lady at her children's school in Easton.

She has been working at Millpond Primary School. Although now an European citizen, she is believed to originally be from Somalia. On January 29, she was evicted and turned to the council for help. However, she claims all the council offered her was a single bus ticket back to Holland.

  1. Sounds like another person taking the pxss out of the British tax payer...

  2. Wow that's wierd. 6 hours a week with four kids. She certainly doesn't sound very productive. It also sound like she found some loophole in the system. But if that's what the judge says then that is what has got to be done.

  3. Legally EU citizens are meant to b treated like UK citizens on all matters over than General Elections, and such things are reciprocal in other EU countries.
