I took Clomid on days 3-7 of my cycle. I am now on cd 13. For the last 3 days I have been extremely tired. My stomach has swollen 2 inches from my normal waist size and intercourse if very painful. When my husband and I have intercourse the pain feels like there are rocks in my stomach pushing together, it is VERY painful, but not so bad if he goes slow and very shallow. Is this a sign of ovulation and is this normal while taking clomid?

  1. I know exactly how you feel. I had all those very same problems last month on my first month of clomid. s*x hurt like really bad, I felt extremely fat, tired  and moody all the time. Those are side effects and they really suck. I heard that taking robitussing or mucinex can help aid in cm(cervical mucous) if you take it starting 5 days before ovulation. Also drink lots of water it will also help increase cm. That should help out on the s*x part. Those are signs of ovulation. Hopefully you ovulated and this is your month. Good luck to you.  I am getting ready to start my second month of clomid.

  2. i ve heard of that b 4

  3. Those are all side effects of the Clomid.  They say you cannot trust your body when on Clomid.  Good luck!

  4. Yup.. these are the side effect of clomid. Beware not to take more than 6 cycles in one lifetime as clomid is a hormone drug that will increase chance of getting cancer. Taking clomid also thins down the uterus lining which the fertilized egg need to implant itself on it. This is not good as the thin lining may not be able to support and may cause m/c. You may also see that the period flow is light and short for that month.
