before ther 'pacman' era, there was a time that manny pacquiao was called 'the destroyer', and for good reason. He was knocking all that oppose him, and quite convincing too.

it still suits him up to now, even if his last two fights ended in scorecards, his KO ratio is still quite remarkable, and he still has that right combination of strength and speed to sweep you off your feet, like that 3rd round knockdown last sunday.

'pacman'? though its kinda corny, but the point of a moniker is to make you more known to people and so that poeple will talk about you, which 'pacman' did that for him.
