Is parasailing illegal and or have there been a law passed that bans it?

i wanted to go parasailing on my vacation but when i called and e-mailed the places that i found online, i got no response. one was in mo. at table rock lake and the other was in grafton il.

I am going to South Padre Island next month and it is advertised and available there along with Kite Boarding. It probably depends on where you want to do it at...Some lakes might have restrictions.

I believe there is some commercial places on Table Rock Lake to para-sail.  Google is your best bet at finding if any are around where you plan on vacationing.
