  1. Paris is, I believe, actually a bit cheaper than Dublin.

I am certain that real estate prices are lower in Paris than Dublin but can't be sure as to overall costs.

  2. Paris is an average city but more cheap than London for exemple..a coffee cost 2 euro to 2.60 (depend where you goes), baguette (the French bread) cose 0.90 cent, 1 way ticket to "metro" is around1.40 euro...and you can eat for around 20 euro ...so its an average european city.

    ( I live in Paris). :)

  3. yes its expensive, i did go for 12days vacation n Paris.

  4. are euros ,more expensive than dollars? yes

  5. When I was there a few weeks ago, I wound up paying about 9 dollars for a cafe creme, so yes, it is more expensive than here.  Bring quite a bit of money with you.

Paris is very expensive all around, yes, but comparable with Dublin like another poster suggested.  Shopping is some of the best in the world.  Along with Dubai =]

  6. I have nothing really constructive to contribute except to say that the kid above wants to go for a school trip and wanted to know about pocket money... and gets a reply about property prices!

    It tickled me!

    Well done folks!

  7. Well, I'd say it depends on how much shopping you are going to do. In general, I would say Paris is relatively expensive, but this would be in the tourist areas, where on a school trip you would most probably be.

And yes, the shopping is amazing. Along the champs-elysees there are most store, like Zara, which I must add, is a lot cheaper in Paris!
