  1. Parsley is very common in most eateries as a garnish and fairly common in salads. Endive is not common i would think because it's not that popular of a vegetable. Chicory belongs to the same genus as common endive. True chicory is a root vegetable whose green leafy tops also are used as cooking greens or in salads. Roots of certain varieties are ground to make the well known coffee supplement, while others are forced in order to grow the delectable salad vegetable known as French endive. I suppose it would be as easy to juice as any other root vegetable.  I don't know how firm chicory is so I don't know if it'll work at that low of a speed.

  2. Parsley is that curly green stuff that is used as garnish. Sometimes you see fake parsley in meat display counters. Endive is more like a lettuce.

I never heard of juicing chickory. This time of year, chickory can be found along roadsided and in overgrown fields. It's a spindly plant with a light blue flower. I can't imagine what part of the plant would provide much juice.

The chickory root is dried, roasted, and used as a coffee substitute. In the south, often chickory is added to regular coffee. It has a distinct flavor some people really like. (Wish I had some chickory coffee now.)
