I would say that some of the best pastrami in the world is found in NY...but (as you can see from all the different answers), New York definitely does not have the exclusive!

Nope it's pretty much everywhere. Pastrami is just seasoned corned beef and it's anywhere you want to get a Rueben sandwich. You can probably get better pastrami in NYC than anywhere else though.
