If so,is there anything we can do about it? If not, tell me why you don't think so.

  1. I guess you aren't old enough to remember the oil embargo of the 1970's.  OPEC cut production, the price of crude oil skyrocketed and that kicked off world-wide inflation.  I watched my paycheck shrink by 10% in one year while it stayed the same.  Yes, these crude oil price increases are a real danger.

  2. This same question was used during the '70s oil crunch.  If you believe the theory of "fossil" fuel and "peak oil". . .then I guess you could make an arguement.  But other people DON'T believe our usage of fuel comes from fossils; that our fuel replenishes itself.

Since I, for one, don't know for sure. . .I'll just say, "It's POSSIBLE!"

As for "what to DO about it?"  DRILL, DRILL, AND DRILL SOME MORE!

  3. I would say we are nearing "Peak Humanity", don't you sense a massive human population correction coming?
