  1. Carrottop-

Yes, peanut butter is a healthy food for most people, BUT can be harmful or deadly for others.  More senior adults (like over 35 years)  with a common condition of the left side of the large intestine (colon) called diverticulosis should NOT eat any form of peanuts as they can worsen the disorder and cause inflammation (diverticulitis and possibly its more serious consequences).  In the past few years a number of reports of sudden, anaphylactic, fatal allergic reactions to even the tiniest amount of peanuts have been published so that many schools are now eliminating peanuts from lunch choices.  Incredibly, one teenager with such an allergy died after a kiss from someone who had just finished a peanut butter sandwich.  It's wild, but documented and sadly true.  Still I plan to continue to enjoy peanut butter myself.

  2. yes, alot of people think that peanut butter is unhealthy because, of the high calories and fat content, but the fat in peanut butter is healthy and essential for maintaining a healthy weight, just stick to 2 tablespoons max. pair peanut butter with toast to make a perfect carb and protein combination that will keep you full for a while
