Is pennfoster a good onine high school program? what kind of materials do they send you?

i'd like to know what materials they send you. and is it a good course?

Yes! Its a great online high school! I am going to be graduating from there in May! I have actually completed all my high school years with them and in just 3! The electives are great too! They have like normal college prep electives but they also have what they call Career Key electives where its basically like a glimpse into what that job will be like! And you can choose 5 electives and it can be from either catagory! The only down side is that Algebra 1 & 2 are electives if you want the whole couse. There's a little bit of algebra in General Math 2 but not a whole lot! They also are really good about answering your emails or anything like that really quickly!

The materials they send you are basically what you need to complete the course. Its a book and like in history they send you those textbooks also. Literature, they send you all the books they want you to read out of! They don't just give you a list and make you go figure out where to find them! All the tests are in the back of the books (except for the 2 writing assignment ones) and you can either mail in your tests, call and use a touch tone phone to take it, or get online to your homepage they give you and take it! I've always done it online and I get my results instantly! Another good thing about doing it online is that after you press submit it comes up on another page and shows you what answers you put in so if you accidentally missed one or hit the wrong key you can check. Then you press submit again and it gives you your grade. Another thing I like is if you miss one they give you the correct answer and tell you what page to find it on so that you can go back and restudy that part! :-)
