  1. noo

  2. this is something that we have talked about before , I found this on the internet this morning :

It appears as though there may be a risk to drinking diet soda after all, although it has nothing to do with obesity  Rather, there is evidence to suggest that drinking dark-colored diet cola (and dark-colored regular cola) can increase your risk of kidney disease.

Based on a report published in the journal Epidemiology, drinking two or more dark-colored sodas -- such as Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, and similar generic brands -- doubles your chances of kidney disease.

The phosphoric acid found in dark colas, but not in clear sodas such as Sprite and 7-Up, is what gives it its unique taste, but also what may lead to the development of kidney stones. This, in turn, can potentially lead to complications and disease.

I suppose this is yet another reason to just stick to plain ol' water.

  3. not really.

  4. Actually, it's a proven fact that it is. Stop drinking pepsi.

  5. ya if u drink thirty in an hour ino from exsperience

  6. SOFT DRINKS ARE ALWAYS DANGEROUS

  7. i seriously hope not..lol no

  8. I don't know about kidney failure BUT:

My best friends mom drank pepsi on a DAILY basis! About a 12 pack of it a day!

She ended up in the hospital and ended up with tubes coming out of her back that were draining her kidneys!!!

I know my Best Friend told me her mom couldn't drink ANY POP!

But, to this day her mom still drinks pop...I don't think she does like she used to..but I think the pop did have something to do with it!

Pop can be rough on people...with stomach ulcers etc....

I get heartburn BAD everytime I drink it!

Ask your doctor next time you are in there and see what he says!

  9. No and no.

  10. They wouldn't sell it as a beverage if it was :P

  11. Where did you hear that?  I don't think so.  And if  it is, then I guess I'm dying a slow death.

  12. im not sure on the medical end but from what ive witnessed... my friends who drink cola on a daily basis have all had kidney stones. i think that may be a sign that its unhealthy. their doctors said it was unhealthy for the kidney.

  13. no but it can rot your teeth and rarely give you a stomach ache if you drink to much.

  14. All soft drinks are full of sugar and increase the chances of having diabetes. Diabetes is a disease that affects your eyesight and also the kidneys. It affects many more areas of your body but the kidneys are one of them. The answer is yes and I was a champion drinker of cola and developed the problems you are talking about.

  15. idk about kidney failure, i actually think that can be counter acted before it happens if you drink enough water because something like that happened to me; I suggest that you don't drink to much soda because i do know that it can cause stomach ulsters and diabetes (don't go for diet especially because it has cancer causing ingredients in it!). It may be gross, but you need to make sure that you urine is the right color: the clearer it is, the more hydrated and the better off you are; if colored, then increase your daily water intake and it should basically flush your system. in short, too much of anything can be bad for you, even water so be careful.
