PEtsmart has all the same things as anywhere else...but beware sometimes their prices are outrageous. Always if possible check your local fish store...you may be able to snag a bargain!

ya theres nothing different than going to buy it from a different place except it might be more expensive or cheaper

I would have to say yes, I have two heaters from petsmart and they work fine and have been for awhile now.  Also if you order a heater off of petsmart or anything for that matter if it comes broken or damaged you are always able to return it for a new one.

It sure is. I've ordered heaters, light fixtures, acrylic tanks, etc. from them.

One acrylic tank arrived cracked, it was replaced within two days. UPS came and picked it up from my home, and the next day I had the replacement. Wonderful customer service.

Edit: one cool thing. Most stores will honor their online prices. So if a heater is 15$ online, and 30$ in the store, print out the online page with the heater, and bring it in. Its a great way to save money, and not have to order online. I've done it before with their master freshwater test kit, since it is 30$ in store, but only 20$ online.
