Is pirates of the carabean ride in florida scary?

Not at all, you float in a boat while scenes of Pirate life surround you.  There is no loud noises, quick movement or any other aspects of fear.  It is a lot like Its A Small World, with out the song staying in your head all day.

It depends on what kinds of rides you like riding.  The majority of the ride is in the dark including 1 or 2 drops in the dark at the beginning of the ride.  I would be especially hesitant to take younger kids on, but I know a 4 year old who thought it was the greatest thing ever as well as a 4 year old who came off almost in tears.  So, truthfully, it depends on what kinds of rides you usually ride.  Check a ride through out on youtube to see how scary you find it:

no its not but its really depend on how easily you get scared.

i personally love scary movies and all kinds of gore like that so it wasn't scary for but if you don't like scary things then its scary!!

it depends. i think most teenagers will not be scared of it at all. smaller children could be scared by some of the scenes.

there may be scenes you don't like. i had a cousin that loved the ride except for the begining when it was darker. then she was fine.

i went on it when it was 9 and it wasn't scary.

NOTHING at Disneyland is scary young kids go on it.

now there are a few rides in Orlando that aren't in California that are scarier.

The movie wasn't scary..

so the ride really isn't any different.
