Is pizza pasta?

Is pizza consider pasta? I consider pasta anything with noodles but my boyfriend considers pizza to be pasta because it is dough with sauce. Any ideas?

  1. your boyfrnd is totally wrong pizza and pasta are two diffrent dishes....
    although some of pasta the recepies seems to b same..
