  1. I can only compare their pizza to places in California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona and Nevada and the answer is YES.........absolutely.

I am not sure why the pizza is so much better in NY and Chicago but it is.

  2. YES.

  3. the best pizza is new york  jersey too , the best food is up north  you cant get any better  the worst pizza  is  in  south carolina  i tried some  and  i  said  what  the  heck  is  this  lol  the north has the best of everything

  4. well i have lived in both cities, and to be honest with you, I found the pizza in Chicago terrible compared to NYC's pizza.  Typically Chicago's pizza was doughy and just plain messy..

  5. NY by far. I live in NY and have not been able to find anything close anywhere else.

  6. I lived on like the border of new jersey so new york was like my second home and lemme tell you that NY pizza is a whole lot better than Maryland pizza. So Im guessing that NY is the best place to get pizza in the US. =] Not sure bout Chicago since ive never been there tho...

  7. I know of awesome pizza places here in Florida, but that's probably because there are so many New Yorkers here :) I think that people can be a little biased, but I imagine that areas without a lot of Italian influence don't have as great pizza.

  8. Last time I checked, Pizza Hut is all over the place. That place has good pizza! The whole thing about the New York, and the Chicago thing is that is where it started. So, it gets the most popularity in the pizza world. New York started have the first thin pizza (Ray's Pizza), and Chicago had the first deep dish pizza (Uno's Pizzeria).

Even though I don't like Giordiano's, there's at least one in Florida. Suparossa just opened a restaurant in Florida. I like Rainforest Cafe's pizza, and Olive Garden (Chicken Alfredo Pizza) which are all over the place. Uno's is in Florida, and in Wisconsin. They might be in more than those places though. I remember seeing a Little Ceasar's in California. There are Domino's in PA. I didn't search through all the states, but they seem to be around all over.

The places that are unique mostly to Chicago are Edwardo's, Lou Malanatti's, Gino's East, Barnaby's, and Suparossa is mostly in Chicago (except one location in Florida). I think Barnaby's stinks though so you aren't missing much. There are other little pizza place like Colutta's, and so forth, but who cares about every little pizza place? Chuck E. Cheese is a pizza place even though it's a kid's place.

Around the world, it's mostly the same pizza. I don't understand your reason why Chicago, or New York have the best pizza except that they started at those locations.

  9. In my experience, not really; but we all like to feel special.

  10. I think ny's and Chicagoans just have bigger mouths...  so you hear about it more...

  11. Not at all.  It is about finding a really good local place and big cities do have more independent pizza places, but not better pizza places.

Personally, I love deep dish Chicago style pizza, but it is definitely not the type of pizza you can eat every week.
