  1. Doctors do not write prescriptions for placebos.  They are used in clinical trials for medications, with informed consent from the study participants.

    If you don't trust your doctor, find a new one.

  3. I've been a RN for over 9 years and I've never had a Dr. write for a placebo.  I've never worked in a Dr's office before, primarily ICU and Transplant.
