Is places like time zone, playtime, and all those other arcades a childs form of gambling?

As an adult I've been a massive gambler which pretty much ruined my life, it all started when I got addicted to time zone machines spending all my pocket money in the hope of "clocking a game" and I was addicted to games and thought about them alot and got agitated when I had no money to play, all the same feelings I have as a gambler I had when I was playing time zone while young. Take my advice, your mother is right

IMO, no. Unlike any form of gambling, every one of these I've ever seen always gives out a win (i.e, at least a few prize tickets). It's just a matter of skill as to how many tickets you get (and thus how much you ultimately pay for whatever you're collecting tickets for.)
