Is plasma or LCD better for HDTV?

I'm going to buy a Vizio HDTV soon, but I don't know which is better - LCD or plasma? Any thoughts?

I have a 46" Sharp Aquos LCD, a 26" Sony Bravia LCD and a 50" Panasonic Viera Plasma.

Both Plasma and LCD produce stunning HD pictures but there are differences.  The Plasma seems to have a "softer" picture and it produces deeper/truer blacks.  The Plasma also costs significantly more to power.

The best picture from all of my tv's comes from the Sony Bravia (obviously) and I can say that I much prefer the picture on both (or any) LCD over the Plasma.

I own a plasma... but i would personally rather own and LCD. I honestly think they are ten times better!!!
