I'm 18 and i live about 30 minutes away from Boston. I just got into Boston U and that was my number one school. In High School i was m.v.p. for lacrosse and i got into a lot of nice division one schools but i am the youngest in my family and i have a lot of nieces and nephews and i don't want to leave them.I want to stay in New England. My boyfriend of 3 years is going to B.C and it all seems perfect. But i was offered a spot on their lacrosse team and scholarship but i don't know if i want to play in college. Maybe my high school success is enough and i should end on a good note. My boyfriend plays football and maybe playing would be too much for the both of us.We would never see each other with training and what not and i love him and would miss him. I have a lot of friends in Boston too, I love Boston and i want to have fun and explore my college Boston life to its fullest.I'm studying to be a nurse and i want an on campus job.If at all possible i would like to keep my summer job as a life guard at home but will i have training? What should i do? What are some pros and cons to playing a sport? Please help!!!!

  1. all that matters is do you........................................

like to play or enjoy it.

  2. If you play a sport in collage it keeps you fit and active- and very busy!! But it might be a little much if you want to see your boyfriend and train while he trains as well. I have no boyfriend and my best friend's plays football too, she loves soccer and she wanted to play so her boyfriend understood and they still manage to see each other often but  I guess it would depend on the times and dates on which you practice and classes. So if you would want to and could manage to get some time with each other I would still play.
